These Spicy Cranberry Meatballs will become a favorite holiday appetizer. Not only are they easy to make, they complement any holiday meal perfectly.

Meatball Ingredients

2 lbs Ground Turkey
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Sauce Ingredients

16oz. Can of Jellied Cranberries
18 oz. Barbecue Sauce
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes


Phase 1: Make the Meatballs

1. Preheat Oven to to 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C).

2. Place the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, soy sauce, lemon juice, black pepper and garlic powder in a large bowl.

3. Set aside a parchment paper lined baking sheet. You will use this to bake your meatballs on.

5. Using your gloved hands, mix ingredients.

6. Once ingredients are thoroughly combined, begin rolling mixture into quarter inch meatballs and place on baking sheet.

7. Bake for 30 Minutes.

8. Remove meatballs from oven and let cool.

Phase 2: Make Sauce & Simmer

1. Over medium heat, in a large saucepan, combine the jellied cranberries, barbecue sauce, lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Cook until bubbly.

2. Reduce heat to medium-low, add meatballs in a single layer and coat completely. Stir occasionally to keep meatballs coated. Cook until sauce is reduced.
